Jays spring traning is here with a loss

In the first game of spring traning the Jays could generate no offence as they lost 4-0 against the Detroit Tigers.  Brett Cecil started the game and allowed one run on 3 hits. He struck one batter out. He threw 11 pitches. The Jays had their best chance to score in the fourth when the bases were loaded with one out.  Then Jose Bautistia struck out and Aaron Hill popped up to end the inning.  In the fifth inning the Jays new center fielder Rajai Davis took an awkward route to the ball and it bounced off his glove.  The Jays had five hits in the entire game.

The Jays next game is tommorrow at 1:05 pm at Joker Marchant Stadium in Lakeland, FL. to play the Tigers again.  Marc Rzepczynski should get the start.
