Jays take game one from Yankees

The Jays beat the Yankees 6-0 in the first game of their four game series.  Brandon Morrow started for the Jays and shut down the Yankees for seven innings giving up four hits and three walks while striking out three.  He got the win, he is now 9-7 on the year with a 3.09 ERA. Brad Lincoln pitched a great eighth and Darren Oliver finished the game out in the ninth while giving up one hit.  Brett Lawrie went 2-4 and reached double digits in homeruns (10) he had two RBI’s (46).  Edwin Encarnacion went 3-4 with a double (24) and three RBI’s (110).  Colby Rasmus went 2-4.  Anthony Gose went 1-3 with a walk. J.P. Arenciba went 2-4 with a RBI (56).  Kelly Johnson went 0-3 with two strikeouts and a walk.
