Homers hurt the Jays

The Jays lost 3-2 against the Rays in game 2 of the series, R.A Dickey got the start for the Jays and gave up one run in the six innings he pitched. The bullpen gave up two one run homeruns to the Rays. Aaron Loup and Ryan Tepera gave up those homeruns and let another good start go to waste as the offense couldn’t pick up the slack. Jose Reyes went 2-4. Edwin Encarnacion, Devon Travis and Kevin Pillar all hit a double. Jose Bautista hit his 18th homerun of the season.

The Jays finish the series tomorrow against the Rays before going on the road again, where they will face the Oakland A’s next.
