Hall of Fame 2015 Predictions

Hall of fame Ballot 2015

Here are my predictions for who reaches the hall of Fame this year followed by my top 10 of the ballot.
Hof of 2015 : Randy Johnson, Pedro Martinez, Craig Biggio, and Mike Piazza.

Top 10 of the ballot who wont get in this year : Carlos Delgado, Larry Walker, Tim Raines, Roger Clemens, Barry Bonds, John Smoltz, Curt Schilling, Fred Mcgriff, Mark McGuire, Sammy Sosa.

I tried in my picking of the top 10 to do it just based on stats, they are not in any order.

Now to focus on the two former Jays on the ballot, Carlos Delgado and Fred McGriff.

Fred McGriff: 19 years, 2490 hits, a slash line of .284/.377/.509. McGriff had 493 homers, 441 doubles and 24 triples in his career. He was one of the premier players of the 1990’s. This will be his 6th year on the ballot.

Carlos Delgado: 17 years, 2038 hits, .280/.383/.546. 473 homers, 483 doubles, and 18 triples. Delgado played 12 years with the Jays and set many team records, these include : home runs, rbi’s, intentional walks, total bases, and many others.

If Delgado makes the hall of fame he will be a lock to be inducted as a Blue Jay, McGriff on the other hand has a chance to go in either as a Brave, a Blue Jay or Ray.

Hall of Fame elections

Last year Roberto Alomar and Bert Blyleven were voted in this year Barry Larkin in his third year was voted in Jack Morris a former Jays pitcher got 66.7 percent in his 13th year he has two more years before he cannot be voted in. In 2013 the HOF will have some tough decisions to make with  Barry Bonds, Roger Clemens, Sammy Sosa, Craig Biggio and Curt Schilling, as first years  along with  returnees such as Rafael Palmeiro and Mark McGwire.  I belive that these men are tainted with steroids and if Pete Rose cannot get in because of gambling then these men should not get in.  Tell me what you think in the comments section.
